you are my shepherd

you guard me when i'm awake
and fight for me in my sleep

how i love to serve you, God
give me more work now, and faster
you are my shield
as well as my sword
you fight for me and through me

i am your instrument
you are the great musician

as i live out your glorious vision
you are my rock

i dance for you as david did
and you are my biggest fan
